 ¡¡ School of Continuing Education The School of Continuing Education was founded in 1994, which is the administrative department in charge of adult higher education, and the principal duty of the School is to manage the adult academic education of XYNU. The School consists of a General Office, Enrolment Section, Teaching Administration Section and Educational Administration Section. ¡¡ The School of Continuing Education takes full advantage of the abundant resources of the faculty and good teaching facilities of XYNU, and pays great attention to teaching quality and nurturing students. Due to more than 10 years of development, a multi-leveled, multi-form and multi-size adult education system has been formed, which includes correspondence education, full-time education, cooperatively-run systems, etc. At present, the School has more than 6,000 students, including over 1,500 full-time students. There are disciplines for high school graduates, for those who have graduated from other three-year professional schools and want to get another diploma for three-year professional education, and for those who have got a diploma and wish to study for undergraduates. The School offers approximately 100 majors, such as Languages and Literature, Sciences, Engineering and Technology, Economics, Management Science, Law, Education and History, etc. To those who have completed a four-year course of study for undergraduate programs, a Bachelor¡¯s degree can be conferred according to the University¡¯s degree-conferring regulations. ¡¡ |
