Department of Architectural Engineering
　

Department of Architectural Engineering was founded in 1988. Formerly, it was a discipline, named Architectural Engineering for Industrial and Civil Use, under the administration of the former Department of Physics. In 1992, the Department gained its current name.

      There are two undergraduate disciplines, namely, Civil Engineering and Construction Management, and at present, approximately 500 students are studying at the department. There is a qualified, experienced and energetic teaching and administrative teacher team. Since 2001, the faculty and staff members of the Department has undertaken more than 20 scientific research projects, published over 100 theses on academic journals, and composed more than 20 professional books and textbooks.

        By giving full play to its own advantages, the Department has gained notability and nurtured a large number of highly qualified talents, and it has developed into the important base for training architectural talents and received a positive evaluation from the society.
